Appropriately dubbed the X-Bow GT, the improved model features an added layer of safety and comfort with a windshield, side windows and doors. A 2.0-liter turbo TFSI engine from Audi provides a whopping 280 horsepower and takes the lightweight vehicle from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds.

According to Bloomberg, Apple Inc. has a team of about 100 product designers working on a wristwatch-like device that may perform some of the tasks now handled by the iPhone and iPad.

“The iWatch will fill a gaping hole in the Apple ecosystem,” Bruce Tognazzini, a technology consultant and former Apple employee, wrote in a blog post last week. “Like other breakthrough Apple products, its value will be underestimated at launch, then grow to have a profound impact on our lives and Apple’s fortunes.”

The Sesto Elemento concept weighs in at just 2,202 lbs (999 kg) and comes equipped with a V10 power unit and permanent all wheel drive. Further impressive stats include a ranch that houses 570 horses and that bring the beast from 0 – 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. What’s more is the savings in fuel consumption thanks to the lightweight engineered used throughout. The Sesto Elemento comes on the heels of the Italian sports car manufacturers 50th anniversary and hints at the legendary company’s future.

After a five-year absence, the Aston Martin Vanquish has returned. However, its arrival as a 2014 model, means the end for the DBS, as the fresh new coupe will replace the outgoing vehicle.
The new Vanquish starts with an all-aluminum monocoque chassis that the automaker calls its “Generation 4 VH” platform. Affixed to the lightweight framework is an aluminum, magnesium alloy and composite body, every single body panel is now carbon-fiber. Compared to its DBS predecessor, Aston Martin claims the new structure is lighter and 25-percent more rigid.
In terms of performance, Aston Martin quotes 0 to 60 mph in just under four seconds with a top speed of 183 mph. With the base price of $279,995, the Vanquish is offered in both 2+0 and 2+2 configurations, but the standard two-seater configuration is highly recommended.
